Philanthropy & Service

Every year, we ask the members of each of our chapters to hold at least one large scale philanthropic event. It is up to the chapter to determine what the event is and what it will be called. We have a partnership with the Red Cross, but it can ultimately be for any charitable organization.

Here are some of the basic requirements we ask of our members every year:

• A minimum of 75% of members / new members participate in at least one organized community service project per term
• A minimum of 75% of members / new members participate in at least one campus organization in addition to the chapter
• Every member / new member participates in at least ten hours of community service in the last year (beyond chapter organized projects)
• Campus leadership position held by at least 15% of the chapter
